As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. This role is integral to ensuring the high-quality assembly and production of our electronic devices.

Role Overview:

The Electronics Assembly Technician will be responsible for the precise assembly of PCBs, including soldering and wiring, to ensure the functionality and reliability of our electronic devices. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for electronics and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual soldering and assembly of electronic components on PCBs with precision and accuracy.

  • Execute wiring and cabling tasks for electronic devices, ensuring secure and functional connections.

  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and instructions to correctly assemble electronic components and systems.

  • Inspect and test assembled electronic components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, providing solutions to ensure the integrity and performance of electronic devices.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in Electronics or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in electronics assembly, with strong soldering skills and familiarity with PCB assembly processes.

  • Ability to read and understand technical documents, such as schematics and assembly instructions.

  • Attention to detail and precision in handling small components and performing intricate assembly tasks.

  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

  • Knowledge of electronic testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
