Cell lysis is a crucial step where microbial cells are gently opened to extract their genetic material. This step is fundamental as it allows us to access and concentrate the genetic essence necessary for precise analysis.

What is qPCR?

Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) amplification is a groundbreaking technique that rapidly and precisely multiplies segments of the extracted genetic material. This amplification process reveals the presence and quantity of specific microbial DNA or RNA, unlocking the identity and abundance of target pathogens or genetic markers.

In qPCR, small segments of DNA or RNA are multiplied through cycles of heating and cooling, allowing for exponential replication. By monitoring this amplification process in real0time, we achieve high-precision quantification, detecting even minute quantities of target genetic material.

The combination of cell lysis, concentration, and qPCR amplification forms the core of our microbial monitoring process. It's through these meticulous steps that we identify and quantify microbial entities, ensuring rapid, accurate, and reliable detection.
