In line with our growth objectives, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to enhance our team at our Oakville office.

Role Overview:

We are inviting applications from Electronics Engineers who are deeply passionate about hardware design, system integration, and the development of embedded solutions that are both efficient and reliable. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong foundation in the principles of electronics engineering, combined with the creativity and innovation needed to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and debugging of embedded systems for advanced electronic devices.

  • Develop embedded software, utilizing programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly, to ensure seamless functionality and integration.

  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to achieve optimal integration of software and hardware components.

  • Perform comprehensive system analysis, including performance optimization and troubleshooting, to ensure the highest levels of system efficiency.

  • Design and implement communication protocols for effective device connectivity and data exchange.

  • Ensure that all development activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Generate detailed technical documentation and specifications for developed embedded systems.

  • Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements and trends in embedded systems design and integration.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

  • Demonstrable experience in an Embedded Engineer role or a similar capacity, with a strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly.

  • Expert knowledge of microcontrollers (including STM microcontrollers), microprocessors, and embedded hardware design.

  • A deep understanding of embedded system architecture and design principles.

  • Familiarity with various communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.) and the development of device drivers.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, coupled with excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
